REMEMBER – Reginald Haskins, Jr. Cast as Sean

Meet our newest actor

Ten friends in an isolated cabin are terrorized by a malevolent force that picks them off one-by-one. As each character is taken, the survivors forget that their friend ever existed, causing ripple effects that affect their personalities, relationships, and ability to survive the night.

We’re excited to welcome Reginald Haskins, Jr. to the cast of REMEMBER as Sean, a character who brings humor and heart to the film’s darkest moments. A lifelong performer and proud horror fan, Reginald is a great addition to our team.

“A horror movie with a group of friends in a cabin, this is my dream come true.”

“Dying on screen has always been one of my goals as an actor,” Reginald said. We won’t say whether his character survives the night, but rest assured—Sean is in for some terrifying encounters.

Originally from Greenwood, South Carolina and now based in Spartanburg, Reginald has been acting since the age of seven and performing professionally for the last four years. He first decided that he wanted to be an actor when he was a kid; his mom brought home an Oscar award replica and presented it to him. That was the moment he knew he had the support to make this his career.

He went on to study acting at Jacksonville State University and has made a name for himself in thrillers like A Perfect Kill and the short film Canvas.

The latter project holds special significance. “When I filmed Canvas, I was starting my sobriety journey. It was rough, but we got through it.” Just days after landing the role, Reginald experienced a near-fatal overdose. “On June 28, 2021, I died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. Ever since then, I knew I had to change—both for myself and for my daughter.” He’s been sober ever since.

“The hardest part is deciding,” he said. “Your family and friends can want to help you, but if you don’t want it yourself, then you won’t change.”

Now four years sober, Reginald is embracing his creative future with new perspective and gratitude. He discovered REMEMBER through a Facebook casting post and knew instantly that it was a perfect fit.

As a character actor, Reginald relishes roles that let him transform. “I like to get into different characters,” he said. For Sean, that means delivering moments of levity in the midst of horror. He draws inspiration from genre favorites like Stu in Scream and Max in this year’s Until Dawn—characters who balance charm with chaos. His original acting inspiration was Denzel Washington in the thriller Man on Fire, a performance that really struck a chord when he saw it as a teen.

And though he’s worked in film before, REMEMBER marks a milestone in his personal journey. “I’m so glad that I’m in this,” he said. “This is my genre. This is what I love.”

We’re stoked to have Reginald bring his story, his talent, and his voice to REMEMBER.

Welcome to the REMEMBER family, Reginald!
