REMEMBER – Tamario Fletcher Returns as Aaron

An actor comes back to horror

Ten friends in an isolated cabin are terrorized by a malevolent force that picks them off one-by-one. As each character is taken, the survivors forget that their friend ever existed, causing ripple effects that affect their personalities, relationships, and ability to survive the night.

Three years ago, production on REMEMBER was unexpectedly shut down. The pandemic had brought everything to a halt—our cast, our crew, and our vision for the film. Among those left in limbo was actor Tamario Fletcher, who had signed on for our very first attempt at telling this story.

Now, we're thrilled to welcome him back—this time as our male lead.

“This is a dream come true,” Tamario said. “I remember how it felt being shut down and not being able to complete what we started. I’m so happy that we’re back.”

This time around, Tamario plays Aaron, a major role that brings both emotional weight and physical challenge. “It’s a challenge, proving myself as a lead,” he said. “When you’re portraying characters, you want to be as far away from yourself as you can. You want to create a character. Aaron is very different from me personally, and I’m very excited by that.”

Originally from California and now based in Atlanta, Tamario has built an impressive resume across television and genre film. He’s appeared in Trophy Wife (ABC Studios), Geo Disaster (SyFy), and the cult horror-comedy Demonhuntr (HereTV), as well as thrillers like ATL Homicide, Fatal Attraction, and For My Man on TVOne. A skilled stunt performer, hip hop dancer, and gymnast, he brings a physicality to his roles that few can match.

Still, it was horror—not action—that made him fall in love with acting.

“I’m a horror aficionado. I especially love slasher films. That’s my type of horror,” he said. Scream and A Nightmare on Elm Street were the films that sparked it all. “Scream was the first horror movie I watched that made me ask, ‘How are they doing this?’ It made me ask questions that eventually led me here.”

Now, Tamario hopes his work can do the same for others. “One of my biggest goals as an actor is to have my work do that for the next generation of aspiring performers.”

He’s excited to return to North Carolina for filming, where his connection to the story first began. “When I first moved to Atlanta, I took a road trip through the Carolinas. I’m fortunate that I was able to explore those places. I fell in love with North Carolina.”

REMEMBER marks a powerful return—not just to the film itself, but to the kind of grounded, character-driven horror Tamario loves most. “I love horror because it puts its characters through wild scenarios. You get to see the characters go through all the trials and tribulations.”

It also marks a quiet milestone in representation. REMEMBER features queer characters whose identities are never centered as plot devices—something Tamario values deeply. “It’s setting a narrative. It says ‘this is normal.’ These are just people, just like the straight characters, just like the Black characters, just like the white characters. These are everyday people, and it doesn’t require this huge thing to include their inclusivity.”

We’re incredibly lucky to have Tamario back on set. Welcome back!
