REMEMBER – Breanna Wade Cast as Sam

Ten friends in an isolated cabin are terrorized by a malevolent force that picks them off one-by-one. As each character is taken, the survivors forget that their friend ever existed, causing ripple effects that affect their personalities, relationships, and ability to survive the night.

We’re thrilled to welcome Breanna Wade to the cast of REMEMBER as Sam, the unofficial leader of the friend group.

Originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia and now based in Pageland, South Carolina, Breanna’s journey has taken her from small towns to major city sets. She studied Acting for Film and Television at Pace University in New York City, which led to her growing career in independent film and TV.

Pageland may be small, but it’s a place she’s proud to call home. “It’s definitely growing,” she said. “And it would be so cool to get our film shown at the Ball Theatre in our downtown.” Her town has been a source of strength throughout her career. “I’m appreciative of the community. I have all my family here and a great network of friends. They’re all very supportive of my career.”

That sense of support resonates deeply with the character she’ll portray. “I love Sam’s outgoing energy,” Breanna said. “I love the coming-of-age aspects. And I love that she’s part of an ensemble with all these different personalities.” 

Sam’s role as a “big sister and protector” to Tabitha especially hits home for her. “My whole family has been supportive from the start. I know a lot of people don’t get that. I feel really blessed.”

Breanna has already built an impressive on-camera career, including a role in her first feature—a Christmas film “about a cute family with a little chaos and some family drama. It’s very upbeat. As far as vibes go, it’s completely different from REMEMBER.”

But that difference excites her. “Thank you to Jeff and Betsy and everybody for trusting me with Sam,” she said. “I love characters that are complex yet show vulnerability without wearing their hearts on their sleeves.”

While she admits she can’t handle every kind of horror——she’s passionate about the performances that make the genre work. “I watch movies where a scream alone has given me chills,” she said, citing Samara Weaving in Ready or Not as inspiration. “That was a great performance, great scream. I’m trying to draw into that.”

Breanna is particularly excited about exploring the ensemble dynamics of the film. “Everybody’s connected in a different way, and as those connections change, I have to figure out how to show that physically,” she explained. “As actors, we have to be very specific so that the audience understands each relationship.”

And of course, she’s looking forward to the monster reveal too.

With a growing career across the Carolinas and a love for stories that highlight character and connection, Breanna is the perfect addition to REMEMBER’s cast.

We can’t wait to see her bring Sam to life on screen.
